Audrey Watkins is an architect and artist from Kenton, Ohio. Formerly a classical
flutist, Watkins’s work uses concepts from musical scoring and architectural
drawing to create new ways to work together. Emphasizing one-to-one translation
of participant input into built output, Watkins’s work casts the architect
as an organizing agent in the creation of opportunity, linking
past and future. Watkins received her Master of Architecture degree from the
Harvard Graduate School of Design, and her undergraduate degree in Art History
through the Columbia University-Juilliard School Exchange, where she studied
flute performance in the studio of Robert Langevin. Audrey has worked in art and architecture practices in New York, Zürich, and Boston.
